A Little Pause in Life: Health Over Wealth We live in a world where success is often measured by numbers—salary figures, bank balances, investments, and assets. We chase deadlines, promotions, and business goals, believing that wealth is the key to happiness. But in this relentless pursuit, we often overlook the most valuable asset we have—our health . The Irony of Life Think about it. We work long hours, sacrifice sleep, skip meals, and put off doctor’s visits because we’re “too busy.” We tell ourselves, “I’ll focus on my health once I’m financially stable.” But what happens when wealth comes at the cost of our well-being? A successful career means little if you don’t have the energy to enjoy it. A luxury car is useless if you’re too unwell to drive it. A big house feels empty if you're confined to a bed inside it. The True Meaning of Wealth Real wealth isn’t just about money; it’s about being able to live fully . It’s the ability to wake up feeling energetic, enjoy tim...
A Little Pause in Life: Why Stressing Over Small Things Isn’t Worth It Life moves fast. Too fast, sometimes. We get caught up in deadlines, worries, and tiny inconveniences that feel like the end of the world in the moment. A bad grade, an awkward conversation, a plan that didn’t work out—these things consume our minds, making us feel like we’re failing at life. But here’s the thing: will it even matter five years from now? Probably not. Think about it. Can you remember the exact thing that stressed you out five years ago today? That one email you sent and regretted? The argument with a friend that felt like a breaking point? Chances are, those things have either faded away or turned into lessons. Yet, at the time, they felt huge—just like whatever’s worrying you right now. The Art of Taking It Easy If there’s one thing we should all practice, it’s the ability to pause, take a deep breath, and let go of the unnecessary weight we carry. Life is too short to spend our energy o...

Embracing the Pause: Finding Beauty in Life's Breaks

Life is a symphony of constant movement, a dance of responsibilities, aspirations, and daily challenges. Yet, amid this whirlwind, there's profound beauty in those moments when we allow ourselves a little pause. In the stillness between breaths, we discover a canvas of reflection, a space to recalibrate and appreciate the journey. Embracing these pauses doesn't signify stagnation; rather, it's a mindful acknowledgment of our humanity. It's in these breaks that we nurture our mental and emotional well-being. Imagine a world where we prioritize the pause—a world where taking a moment doesn't equate to falling behind but, instead, propels us forward with renewed vigor. It's in these pauses that creativity is sparked, resilience fortified, and gratitude cultivated. So, here's to the little pauses in life—the deep inhales before the next exhale. Let's scelebrate the unplanned intermissions that gift us with clarity and perspective. May we find joy in the quie...

Why we deny to accept ?

We were always like this ! We love to show the emotions according to what others will think about us instead of what we actually feel. The recent incident about one of a young talented actor has left us with the very basic question of "WHY WE DENY TO ACCEPT"? Well yes people will stop posting about the recent incident by the end of this week or a month . They will get engaged to the same old routine of running after money so that one day we could live better . The sanity of basic life is to live , to feel , to observe the things around us and not just keep running and ending it with a huge list of things to-do. Thinking about the life in a manner that things will get back to normal is the very basic error we do . ! Can we undo an error ? Can we mend a Broken Glass without being able to see the cracks ? We certainly can't? but the thing here is not about seeing the broken glass but to accept that its broken and not to hide the story behind it . Mistakes happen...

Finding Hapiness . . .

Arjun opened his eyes and all he could see is people are gathered around him .Confused and Puzzled ,he tried to call his wife and ask her about all this mess he could see in front of his eyes but suddenly he saw her crying sitting next to her. Her face was all red , eyes were swollen , hairs were mess which hardly happens with so many people to visit , she use to be perfectly ready before such gatherings ,as he was trying to understand the situation he saw his parents coming towards him , by now it was all messed up so he got up and what he saw was devastating , His body was still lying there like a motionless creature. All he could remember about last night was the walk towards kitchen to have a glass of water at around 2.am . Slowly after million of thoughts popping up in his mind he understood that he has left his near and dear ones , but how could he believe what he was experiencing .How could he even think of dying when there was so much to do , he haven't even thought in his...

The word of mouth

We often heard in life that “The pen is mightier than the sword”. Yes, this is true but we never wonder about the authenticity of the work written by the pen. That’s simply because we were never taught to question the same. Today I just had this argument with myself after watching the movie Baar baar Dekho. What’s said by the critics and people around me gave me an impression about that movie was that it’s not worth anyone’s time to devote in such kind of movie and I was following the same rule taught to me “Not to question the authenticity”, unless and until one old friend of mine suggested that I should watch the movie and decide by myself instead of blindly following the word of mouth. Still I was not convinced because it’s easy to be with the majority then to take a stand. There are so many simple things in life we choose to ignore, so many rituals blindly followed that we didn’t even have the courage to question that! Why is that? Why are we th...

Fir hogi barsaat par tum na hogi.

Kya hogi woh raat jab tum na hogi . . Fir hogi barsaat par tum na hogi. .

The imaginary struggling.

Every single event happening in front of us is a opportunity to learn something from it , but how often we pay attention to it . I assume none!  Or very rarely few out of millions and billions . Why is this negligence , why people don't want to learn from others mistake and  don't feel blessed to have what they have and to laugh at the moment . They attempt to create a wall of sadness or wishes of what they want instead of making a scenery of what they have . I know its quite real and happens with every single individual but the question is why not apply some effort to change the way we see the world . Lets start with a small incidence happened with mohan , one of my friend who was more into i want to live like others and why cant i get what he has . Now mohan was traveling to Delhi from kolkata . His train was about to arrive at kolkata station for boarding. The environment of railway station has a lot to teach if we care too. There was a lot of rush and people were runn...

The Era of Smart TV & Phones and dumb People .

I t was not the first tie when I was ditched by the network  while I was looking for way to reach the office and the wise old man around me helped with the route to get me there without even giving a little stress over it. The same thing happened to me when I was travelling and wanted to know the list of stations where the train is going to stop but again this sweet innocent love of my life was out of network so I the ray of hope was old couple sitting next to me .These small incidences force me to think about how Technology has overtaken the power of our brain. I still remember when i was a high school kid and Mobile Phone was the newly invented craze and at that time I use to remember all the contact numbers of my near and dear once so that I can call them and gradually when this device was developed further with better storage and all the contacts was saved in the phone now i hardly remember any contact numbers. The exercise or the work which we use to do with our brain has take...

WHY I LOST YOU

Kyu milte hai log bichdne ke liye, Kyu hoti hai aashiqui dil tutne ke liye . Yu toh jindagi gujar dete tere sath, Fir kyu hoti hai adhuri kahaniya tanha rehne ke liye. Naina :-No randeep this is not the first time we are having this conversation! I think we both are wasting our time. We should stop looking each other. maybe we are not destined to be together or maybe you don't want us to be together. This girl will never lie. She told me that you proposed her .Why the hell i was wasting time on you. Randeep :- At least give me a chance to say something? Naina :- No! this is it and i don't want you in my life , that's final .I am leaving for Delhi  tonight  and this is the last conversation we had for the rest of the life.BYE. How often we came into Situations like this? Well I have seen many cases where the only thing that is lacking in the relationship is lack of proper Communication. Many a time it happens that " we should have talked about the things with each other...

Life that was ! ! !

"Good afternoon, This person who left us with the bag full of memories is my friend Ashish Chhabra . " This is how i want my friends to say  the eulogy to be read at my funeral.  I know its crazy to talk about something like this , but everybody have a dream about how they want to be remembered after they are gone . They work for their whole life to make an impression on the world who will remember them after their departure and this is the reason i want people to say my eulogy in this mentioned way. I want to leave an impression in such a way that even if my friends say a single sentence on the final day , the tear drops should be followed  by the sentence "he was such an idiot" . I want  my seniors to say "yes he was such a pain in the Ass ", he was always upto something and use to challenge every rule " many of my seniors would agree with this point i hope. (Saurav, ankit , minakshi di, pankaj bhaiya) . I want my dearest people to cherish the momen...

The remaining 95%.

"He is lucky" exclaimed anirudh, having a healthy conversation just after the results were declared. Anirudh stated that arnab always get better marks then him because of his luck. I and arnab study the same thing , take the same tuitions and the solve the same test papers but every time he gets a huge lead .This is a routine cry of anirudh supporting his failure to take over arnab. Often we came across these type of situations . Sometimes we are the part of this conversations , sometimes we just listen, but the one thing you will observe during these chats is that if you are the part of the conversation then you might believe that "Anirudh is right" keeping yourself in his position but as soon as you are the other part of the story .ie "Arnab to the story" you feel Irritated because you worked really hard to compete and after winning all the credit is going to your luck! isn't it? This was just  a normal incidence I thought of sharing .I was just goin...

The lost Childhood !

One of the best part of our life is the Childhood. The Innocence and purity at heart makes us feel good. It often happens when you return from tiring day and you spend few moments with a kid you feel good. It is always heartwarming to see your kid running towards you as soon as you enter the house ,but today's generation is changing . I won't blame the parents for the change but yes things are indeed changing. Today you go anywhere you can see a toddler holding an I pad or Mobile . Most of the things they do are on the mobile and iPods'. Now many of you will argue that the technology is the need of the time. With fast changing technology one definitely need to upgrade their child so that he knows everything. True, but how will you justify the Innocence which is killed by the technology? How will you justify the time which was supposed to be the happy dinner time is your Childs favorite time to challenge their friend for online games.? Even if they are on the table their min...

An Unanswered call !

Often in life we get so indulged in activities that we forget about the Purpose of Life. The fear of tomorrow has killed our today in many ways. I have often seen people making plans of doing things once they achieve some target and most of the time we fail to enjoy the tiny moments of life.  We forget the Joy .Life s not an Unanswered call. Life is a call which we should take with joy and happiness inside us. This is a Long gap since I wrote my last blog but it's never late to start afresh. This topic has came into my mind from the incidence that happened to one of my dear friend and that lead me to write and share.  It was  8:30 pm  in the night and as usual I was having dinner when Suddenly I got a call from one of my friend  stating that her brother is not receiving the call past 2 Hours and the whole family was panicking. Everyone at this end was forcing their mind to think as much negative as it could .While repetitive attempt was being made but with every...

. . .and a happy new year ! :-)

Sharing is Caring, I am thankful to the below Anonymous Guest Blogger for sharing her experience with me and my friends! Here it Goes . . . It was a beautiful sunny Sunday of December. I put on my favorite white top, matched it with black lower and my perfect white stilettos. I counted my steps before leaving my home, it’s been just a month I started riding my scooty to places outside my locality. I was still an amateur and that too with 2.5 inches heels on, it would be like self-invite to trouble. I was still hovering around looking at my heels when my friend called me to be quick and pick her up from her house. I dunno what was creating friction in my mind, my heels or riding scooty with heels. Still I left my house hip hopping in a party mood giving a kick that “Bad things don’t happen to Good people” Hypocrite I was. I have only ridden around 2 km away from my house when the auto-rickshaw before me applied breaks all of the sudden in the middle of road and...

The Journey . . .

Festivals a good way to take break from the monotonous work !, Something which people still  like about the festivals are the holidays they get ( the single motivation behind celebrating it ) . Same was with me , I took some break and went to see my loved once ! But as said nothing lasts forever so does my holidays also had an ending ! Irrespective of movies , we generally don't have a happy ending bcoz we dont want to get back to the desk ! "We earn to live " . As usual I was returning ,parents were sad , heat was on . I boarded the train . The best part of travelling in India is you get to interact with so many different creatures of similar looks !  So I started the journey , it was unexpected to see the compartment with only one man sitting next to the window seat . It started with "aap kaha tak ja rhe hai " after I get settled . So as the conversation was started I came to know that the man is a central govt employee, working for railway...
